This pool is rather like a tropical lagoon as it is surrounded by plants and has an unusual shape.  The little waterfall feature, using the natural rock is a nice touch.

This is a more traditional style pool and on a larger scale.  The terrace of this cave house allows for a larger construction, and a paved area for sunbathing.

Another traditional style pool of decent proportions, again this cave house has ample room to do this..

Plunge pools and  dip pools are another affordable alternative and are very nice to cool off in during the long Spanish summers.  This is a free standing pool and can be drained for the winter period but comes with filter and pump.

This is a brand new pool that my friend has just had installed, with a paved area around it.

Again a traditional pool with a raised side, which is older in design.  This is quite a large pool and a good sized terrace or plot of land would be required for this.

This unusual shaped pool has a gravel area around it but uses natural stone for the edges as opposed to the more usual pool tiles.

Now nobody said that pools have to be outside !  Yes I know quite and idea and one that I hope to achieve at some point.  This pool is a good size and is within the cave itself.  There is also a small pool with a water feature into it.  This is one of my favourite ones.

I particularly like the style of this pool as it looks very natural and does not follow the conventional style  this could really bit put in any area although the size of the area involved would dictate the final proportions.

This is a lovely example of a plunge pool with an unusual shape that really enhances the seating area.

This pool is a every big kids dream, the ultimate paddling pool.  However these are very useful for those with smaller areas.  They come complete with pump and filter and steps.  I have one on a slightly smaller scale which does not require steps and it was a godsend in the summer.
