| | This is an up lighter which has a Moorish feel. Much of the lighting in Spanish caves has this sort of feel due to the moorish influences in the area |

| | The diversity of materials that can be used for lighting, knows no bonds, the only real limitations are those of your imagination. Many people chose to theme each room. This is an example of a driftwood wall lamp. |

| | These delightful roof tiles have been hand painted ready to be used as up lighters. These particular tiles are manufactured in Andalucia and have proven to be extremely popular |

| | This is another wall light which is predominately wood and iron. These particular lights give a slightly gothic feel, and really could be utilised in any room in your cave. |

| | These up lighters have been fashioned from old wine vats cut in half, this example is in one of the rooms of our cave, and further demonstrate, imagination and ingenuity. |

| | This example is again very moorish in style and can either be used as occasional low lighting, and could be hung or could be left free standing. These would give a bedroom a nice warm glow, without being overpowering. |

| | This wall light is very unusual and I have to confess one of my favourite examples. This uses almost a stained glass effect, and in my opinion would be very nice in a hallway or passage way. |

| | This is a metal sconce with a cut out detail, very rustic and very robust, and really could lend itself to most rooms in a cave home. I do feel that this has more of a masculine charm, of course this is depending on taste. |

| | Again the moorish element is clear in this elegant example of an up lighter. I think that this example would be a splendid addition to a lounge or bedroom, as it has a luxurious feel. |

| | Another up lighter with a stronger presence ,the sort of lighting I might chose for a dinning room or study |

| | I like these hanging lights and I think that these would be very elegant hung in two's or three's, maybe lighting I would chose for a hall |

| | This light is very similar in design to both the metal sconce and the painted roof tile lights. This is a roof tile which has not been painted but has had cut outs made to allow maximum light. This is another example of a light in one of our caves. |

| | Another very rustic example made from twigs, and then varnished. A simple idea which could be adapted quite easily to fit in with any decor. |

| | These standing lamps would look lovely in some of the many alcoves that can be found in cave rooms. They are a stylish design offering that gentle low light which is a perfect atmosphere for relaxing. |

| | Hanging lights are not always an option in a cave house as the ceilings in some rooms are not always that high. However we have seen many caves who could use this sort of lighting to good effect. In at least one room in my cave this chandelier could be used. Personally I would put this sort of light in my dinning room above my table. |
 | | The lights below are all from a friends house, as you can see some very different materials were used, and show that with a little imagination, some very unusual but desirable effects can be achieved. This tulip is very unusual. |
 | | This light has been fashioned from an old piece of wood. |
 | | This one has been made from a wine vat and some driftwood |
 | | Again a variation of the one above. |
 | | Again on a very similar theme although a plant pot has been used. |
 | | This is one I really like and I admire the imagination that went into this light. |
 | | These lights are brilliant because they have been made out of natural product. I would not have considered using a gourde for a light base. You can see clearly from this hanging lamp that the top of the gourde has been removed and the base is housing the light, suspended by a leather thong. |
 | | With this wall light the gourde has been left intact but sliced down the middle. |
 | | This light follows the same principal as the light above, but a very different design has been carved out of it. |
 | | This last light is the same as the above but you can see that this is a very different shape from the others. |
