Beckham Creek Cave Haven - America

Built during the period of 1983-1987 in Arkansas, this wonderful cave dwelling was fashioned out of the rock by a man called John Hay.  This cave dwelling was originally intended to be a designer bomb shelter which was considered essential during the height of the cold war.  The property covers some 5,500 square feet, and is on two storeys.

Now Beckham Creek Cave Haven is a luxurious cave accommodation where the rich and famous would happily stay.  The accommodation is perfectly in harmony with the beautiful natural surroundings.

Putting you directly in touch with nature, the house boasts natural living cave walls and ceilings. By maximizing window areas along the wall facing outside, and maintaining large, open living spaces, natural sunlight floods the living area, pool room, and kitchen, bringing the outdoors inside the cave.

Totally secluded, the Cave House delivers a comfortable and relaxing vacation. However, this does not mean there aren't plenty of activities to be found. On our estate alone there is mountain biking, hiking, and fishing. There is also plenty of sight seeing and shopping available in the surrounding areas. You can arrive via curvy country lanes, or if you prefer, by helicopter.

The cave house is located in the Buffalo National River country with all the wild beauty of the Ozark countryside. Life here has so much to offer: clean air at an elevation exceeding 1,000 feet; pure, drinkable water bubbling right up from the ground; friendly people; and an almost endless list of opportunities for activities such as nature study, spelunking, and rock climbing.

The magnificence of the Cave House has been appreciated by many. We have even been featured on Life Styles of the Rich and Famous, Home and Garden TV, NBC Nightly News, People Magazine, National Geographic, Four States Living, and The Barefoot Traveller.
